Five 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying facts ahead of matchday 5 this weekend:
- Tunisia are only team boasting a 100 percent record having beaten Egypt 1-0, eSwatini (formerly Swaziland) 2-0 and Niger 1-0 and 2-1 in Group J.
- Sudan, who hosted and won the 1970 Cup of Nations when it was an eight-team competition, and neighbours South Sudan have lost all four qualifiers.
- Egypt are the leading scorers with 12 goals, helped by six at home to Niger in a match where Liverpool star Mohamed Salah missed two penalties.
- South Africa and Uganda have not conceded in four matches while the Seychelles have the worst defence, leaking 14 goals, including six in South Africa.
- Nigerian Odion Ighalo, the former Watford striker, is the leading individual scorer with six goals, five of which came in home and away matches against Libya.
